Artsakh Relocation Project

The Artsakh Relocation Project aims to fulfill the immediate needs of Artsakh families, providing essential items including food, toiletries, clothing, and rent.

“It has been a difficult time for us, but these [essential items] will make things a little easier. When my family member passed away, I thought I gained one guardian angel, but now I know your organization is our guardian angel, too.”

Where we started…

In the midst of a global pandemic, our brothers and sisters in Artsakh faced war, death, and relocation. Now, thousands of Artsakh refugees are in need of food, toiletries, blankets, clothing, and more.

Traditional nonprofits may not know where all the Artsakh refugee families are, and families might not know that there are services offered by nonprofits to take care of these needs. The Artsakh Relocation Project fills that gap. We work to help as many families as possible until larger nonprofits can step-in and help refugees on a larger scale.

…and where we’re going.

In just the first few weeks of launching Artsakh Relocation Project, the team has reached over 4,000 people, providing them with immediate necessities.

Through the assistance from amazing donors, and new partnerships, The Artsakh Relocation Project will continue to assist families and provide the proper humanitarian aid during this crisis.

Frequently Asked Questions

Realistically, what amount is needed per month for these families?

Roughly $175 covers the first month, and then $100 for following months if needed.  Regarding the breakdown, $50-60 covers the cost of food and hygiene products for a family of 5-7 for two weeks.

Can you provide photos about the families so I can see where aid is going?

The families who give us permission will be posted. There are families who don’t want their pictures shared on social media, however, once you are matched you will receive their pictures and contact information. From that point you are more than welcome to communicate with them directly.
